With an extensive background in hip hop production, B-sides has had releases with stars such as Trina, Nipsey Hussle, The Lonely Island and Lupe Fiasco. More recently teaming up with Jayceeoh for more of a dance music style, he’s gone on to have releases on Buygore and be commissioned for official remixes for The Bloody Beetroots, Wiz Khalifa, and B.O.B.
While teaching at Icon Collective, Brenden Long has mentored some of dance music’s newest up and coming acts. His latest remix of Dillon Francis’ “Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin’)” flips the original on its head with a completely new rhythm and vibe. Switching the tempo from a steady 112 bpm moombahton beat to a trap-inspired downtempo banger, B-sides drops the original anthem into an array of heavy bass and massive wubs.
