Toxic Chemicals Shutdown Cityfox NY’s Halloween Party

Rough night for New York techno fans. The infamous Cityfox party that was slated to take place on Halloween in New York city was shut down just moments before doors opened. The scheduled venue – an old Nuhart Plastics favorite in Brooklyn – was home to toxic substances such as asbestos and PCB. Cityfox organizers were granted a liquor license for the Halloween bash that featured Lee Burridge, M.A.N.D.Y., Behrouz and more, but city officials and local residents were unaware of the event.

More than 4,500 members were set to attend this massive warehouse party according to Resident Advisor‘s ticket page, which caused even more chaos as they arrived to the location, only to find out that the event was no longer taking place due to complaints and the FDNY. Cityfox assured that each ticket sold ($50-80) would receive a full refund, but that didn’t stop the wave of furious attendees from voicing their frustrations on their Facebook page.
