Justin Bieber is on the cover of i-D this month, along with a full-feature interview with the young adult artist.
He talks about everything from his past to the women in his life, his monkey, as well as working with Skrillex & Diplo on “What Are Ü Now.”
When he made Where Are Ü Now with Skrillex and Diplo, Bieber says he was touched by a higher power. “I completely see that as being God. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to all this stuff, and then the direction that it went in? That was definitely God. Because you never know when you have a hit.”
According to the interview, Bieber is a self-touted religious man who “sees God in everything.” So for him, it’s very likely that it felt like God’s will that the track would receive such massive success and popularity.
But come on, Biebs. If you don’t think that something with the names Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber on it would find success anyway…
