In celebration of reaching 10,000 Soundcloud followers, producer AIRWAV has uploaded a wonderful, original future bass track titled “When I’m With U (Thanks for 10k).” Using powerful vocal chops and a satisfying lead, the song seems instantly familiar while retaining AIRWAV’s unique production style. The track begins with a rumbling of deep drum strikes and scattered hi hats. Quickly, a high-pitched vocal chop leads us into the drop, where wide layered synths push outward from a simplistic but dynamic rhythm. The vocal cuts continue throughout the break as a full sub bass rattles underneath steady hat hits. A shaker fills the gap of energy, eventually returning to a drop similar to the first. The song ends with a fadeout of warm but melancholy chords.
