Ultra Music has never been shy about pushing new talent they fully believe in – having recently thrown their weight behind the huge “Don’t Give Up (On Love)” by recent breakthrough act Blinkie, the gargantuan dance label is giving its stamp of approval to up and coming French beatsmith Tez Cadey.
At an impressive seven tracks, Cadey’s debut EP, Walls, showcases a young producer with an ear for what works at the house tempo, in terms of melody and musicality. Tracks like ‘Palm’, ‘Oregon’, ‘Walls’ and ‘Coastal Cat’ all have deep grooves and a lush warmth to them – proving that there is a lot more to come from the 22 year old Parisian resident.
