After meeting with government officials and local authorities, Belgium’s Tomorrowland will be implementing metal detectors as part of their increased security efforts.
Due to the increased threat of terrorism, these metal detectors will be installed at the festival’s entrance, with handbags, backpacks, and other items receiving thorough scrutiny, although they’re not at liberty to disclose all of the increased precautions.
Scheduled to take place July 22nd through the 24th in Boom, Belgium, ID&T is taking every measure to ensure Tomorrowland’s continued legacy as a haven for unity, peace, and love. If anything, celebrations like these are more important than ever, and we can’t wait to see the magic of this year’s iteration.
