It’s Sunday night, so you know what that means . . . Game of Thrones time! This week’s episode is not only the finale to season six, but right before the episode aired Kygo was featured in a cool little HBO commercial right before the finale aired – thanks to Your EDM reader Fernando Antonio for pointing out our error.
The Norwegian producer has been pretty much everywhere in the past year cementing himself as EDM’s next superstar. In the process, it seems he’s landed himself a nice little sync on what’s probably the most popular TV show in history. “Intro,” from Kygo’s debut album Cloud 9, creeps up in this commercial which aired right before the show, hence our original confusion. Though the clip is short we’re momentarily graced with visuals of Khaleesi & Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, riding one of her dragons while “Intro” plays in the background.
