The Chainsmokers continue to show their dominance in 2016 by performing live on Good Morning America today, a feat only achieved by a handful of other electronic acts including Zedd and Kygo. For their appearance, they performed their new #1 hit single with Daya, “Don’t Let Me Down,” with a full band.
Drew performed guitar while Alex was on keyboards and synths, and they event brought along a live drum and saxophonist for the performance, as well as (obviously) Daya on vocals. While they’ve previously performed “Roses” live, this is the first time they’ve gone for the full band and, though the drums sound a little muddled in the drop (as any electronic song modified for a live performance might sound), the performance was spectacular.
