French producer Khamsin has slowly been crept up on my radar for some time now as a producer to be following, and once you listen to his latest single “Maelstrom,” you’ll definitely know why.
There’s something about “Maelstrom” that separates it from most of your run-of-the-mill future bass instrumentals. The track just feels alive, you can hear it playing out of your speakers but somehow it feels so much more than just auditory soundscapes. Khamsin has done an amazing job crafting textures and sounds, culminating in a three-minute and 43-second long musical journey from his mind to our ears.
