PREMIERE: Steve James Unleashes His Biggest Single Yet

Steve James is an 18-year-old DJ/producer prodigy backed by Martin Garrix who is melding pop and EDM in a brilliantly unique way and is reaping the rewards as a result. Touting writing credits on Justin Bieber‘s latest album title track, “Purpose,” and one of the most remixed songs of the year with “Renaissance,” we decided to make this a little bit more special than a typical premiere.

Starting today at 1pm EST, Steve James will be taking your questions via Your EDM on Twitter using the hashtag #AskSteveJames. Feel free to ask any and all questions about working with Bieber, Garrix & more…

Ask Steve - Friday

Now let’s get to the music! This new solo release, “In My Head, ” debuted on Garrix’s newfound STMPD Radio, features a typical dance music structure – drop and all – at a mellow pop tempo that will have you bobbing your head and turning up the volume in any listening environment.  The song features local LA duo RKCB who serve up a soulful R&B vibe that results in a singular combination of styles for one overwhelmingly unique song.

With an EP set to arrive early 2017 and support from some of the best and brightest stars in the music industry, EDM and otherwise, Steve James looks to cement himself as one of dance music’s fastest rising stars in the coming months, and this is one helluva start.
