Listen To The Official Remixes Of Major Lazer, MØ & Justin Bieber’s “Cold Water”

Major Lazer & Justin Bieber Finally Release ‘Cold Water’

If it weren’t for “Closer” and “Let Me Love You,” “Cold Water” definitely would have been the song of the summer. The combination of a return performance from MØ and the addition of Justin Bieber to the already-blazing Major Lazer sound was a recipe for success – other artists just had a better recipe.

Still, that doesn’t mean that a few great remixes couldn’t come out of the experience. The official remix EP for the track comes with six remixes from Lost Frequencies, Boombox Cartel, Afrojack and more. Some are certainly stronger than others – like Lost Frequencies and Ocular. The rest honestly are playing catch up.

As mentioned before, in my opinion, the Lost Frequencies and Ocular remixes are the best of the bunch, with Boombox Cartel close on their tail. Afrojack would have been up there too had he not been so obviously trying to capitalize on the sound that Marshmello has popularized. As for Delirious & Alex K and King Henry & Jr Blender, they’re okay but rather expendable amongst the rest.

Check them all out on Spotify below.
