Synthwave Producer Com Truise Tackles Deadmau5’s “Strobe”

The past week has proven to be an interesting one, as yet another remix of deadmau5‘s hit “Strobe” has surfaced on the Internet, keeping fans excited for the release of his Mau50100 remix EP. Just a few days ago, Feed Me played a stunning remix of “Strobe,” and it seems like synthwave artist Com Truise is following suit.

Premiering via Mixmag, Com Truise’s remix of “Strobe” is an interesting take on mau5’s opus. Keeping some of the core melodies intact, Com Truise really captured the essence of “Strobe” while still completely transforming it into something uniquely his own. He’s slowed everything down and given the track an 80’s feel, making it sound like a happier version of the Drive soundtrack.

Check it out below!
