Your EDM Month In Music – July, 2016

Man, every time I make one of these playlists I’m convinced that I’ve made the best playlist yet, but every month the music that comes out just seems to be better and better. August was one of our strongest months in music to date yet, but September had its fair share of hits as well.

Daft Punk and The Weeknd kick us off with “Starboy” and joining those two superstars are Cashmere Cat, Selena Gomez and Tory Lanez, Justice, The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Zedd, Calvin Harris, and Zeds Dead all dropped new singles. Huge shoutouts to both Zeds Dead and Dillon Francis for double inclusions. Zeds Dead with new hit singles “Stardust” and “Frontlines”, and Dillon for his new single “Anywhere” and a remix under his DJ Hanzel project – the first song to that project’s name.

This month also saw a fair few new EPs, LPs, and remix EPs alike. The legendary “Strobe” was given a wonderful new official remix by Dimensions while Wuki served up a delicious remix for “Closer.” Pusher dropped his debut EP the wonderful New Laces featuring “Long Nights” while Goldroom, GriZ, Getter, and more all put out new albums and an EP respectively which are reflected in this playlist.

Stream all that and more below.
