Beat Market Releases FOMO-Inducing Live Footage Alongside Latest Singles

This one is for all the house-heads out there. If you can’t enough four on the floor, we’ve got a new name you need to have on your radar. Quebec’s Beat Market has been making groovy, original beats ever since the duo of Louis-Joseph Cliche and Max Bellavance met at college a few years back. The two share a love of jazz, funk, punk, and, of course, electronica. As a result, their foray into dance music is a 50/50 blend of man and machine (with a dash of glitter for good measure).

Beat Market combines organic instrumentation with digital production to form a style that is as infectious as it is innovative. Drawing influence from the greats like Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, and Justice, their music sits at the intersection of electro, disco, and good ol’ French house. Their debut album Red Magic turned quite a few heads upon its release in 2014 and many have been eagerly awaiting a new project from the duo. Their hungry ears won’t have to wait much longer, however, as Beat Market has a new album scheduled for release with Lisbon Lux Records on November 11th. Entitled Sun Machine, the record is jam-packed with  a variety of styles and features a talented crew of vocalists and musicians like AizaMalika, and French Horn Rebellion. Two singles featuring the aforementioned singers are available for streaming now, and you can check out both below.

But, wait, there’s more! Beat Market recently showed off their live performance chops at Montreal’s Centre Phi and it was one for the books. Both Aiza and Malaika were in attendance and lent their stunning vocal talents to the show. Needless to say the crowd was going wild; check it out for yourself in the video below and keep your eyes peeled for the full release of Sun Machine!
