Kap Slap’s Mashup Of The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber & Odesza Is Absolutely Addicting

The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart Was Just The Victim Of A Vicious Hack

Mashups are so passé in dance music. After so many artists rose to notoriety creating them in the early 2000s, it became almost taboo to do… except when it’s good. And we mean really good… like this mashup from Kap Slap.

Kap Slap, along with others like Super Mash Bros and Girl Talk, was one of the few to break through with quality mashups. He recently started creating originals in just the last year or so, but he’s back with his first mashup in a while and we’re absolutely addicted.

With Odesza’s “White Lies” as the production background, Kap Slap uses acapella’s from The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” and Major Lazer & Justin Bieber’s “Cold Water,” as well as Gnash’s “i hate u, i love u,” to create one of the most beautiful tracks of the year. And when Halsey’s vocals finally come in? Hnngg, forget about it. So good.
