The LA based alternative band, The Federal Empire, has just received a stellar future bass remix from Lux Pacific. The track “The American Dream” was the title track of The Federal Empire’s debut EP and they could not have asked a better artist to remix it. Lux Pacific gives us a version that delivers infectious melodies, grooving bass lines, and dreamy atmospheres.
The track begins by highlighting a melody that plays in the background of the original. The verse comes in with lyrics that tell us what The Federal Empire thinks of today’s American Dream. The lyrics coupled with a drum arrangement stacked with a swing feel creates a whole new vibe to the track.
