As summer anthems seem to be hitting the EDM scene with abandon this week, a new funky house artist called Kokaholla has thrown his hat into the mix with a fun, funky house track called “High With Me”. The pop-infused jam features vocals by Quinn Bates and released tomorrow, May 5 on TurnItUp Muzik.
While Kolaholla is already known for his remixes of artists like Sleepy Bae and Sick Individuals, “High With Me” is the first fully original track by the Vancouver producer to be released on a major label. “After 2 years of writing, scouting singers and producing a steady stream of demos, I am immensely pleased to be dropping my debut single ‘High With Me’…As a songwriter, I’m particularly excited to be sharing music that features my own words and melodies sung by Quinn Bates, one of the greatest voices I’ve ever encountered.”
