Calvin Harris Collaboration With Frank Ocean & Migos “Slide” Achieves Platinum Certification

In case you haven’t heard, “Slide” by Calvin Harris just achieved Platinum status in the United States making it his 9th single to achieve the coveted sale certification mark. Knowing Calvin Harris it was always going to be inevitable, but regardless, it’s still an incredible achievement.

The single, which featured Frank Ocean’s soulful vocals and Quavo and Offset from popular rap trio Migos, took the streaming world by storm consistently remaining a fixture in Spotify’s daily top 20 songs since its release back in late February for close to three straight months. In fact, it’s only since mid-May that the track has finally started to slow down and even then it remains around the #30 mark on Spotify’s daily charts.

In case you were wondering, Calvin’s full list of RIAA Platinum certified singles looks like this…

  • “Feel So Close” – 3x Platinum
  • “Sweet Nothing (feat. Florence Welch)” – 2x Platinum
  • “I Need your Love (feat. Ellie Goulding”) – Platinum
  • “Summer” – 3x Platinum
  • “Blame (feat. John Newman)” – Platinum
  • “Outside (feat. Ellie Goulding)” – Platinum
  • “How Deep Is Your Love” – Platinum
  • “This Is What You Came For (feat. Rihanna)” – 2x Platinum
  • “Slide (feat. Frank Ocean & Migos)” – Platinum

OH, and while we’re at it, don’t forget his feature appearance on Rihanna’s “We Found Love” – a single that went Platinum a ridiculous nine times over. In any case, congratulations are certainly due for Calvin Harris who’s now achieved a hit summer single in seven straight years.
