Calvin Harris & DJ Khaled Collaboration Revealed as Khaled Releases New Album

Who knew the viral story out of EDC Vegas this past weekend would be DJ Khaled‘s controversial performance? While technical issues marred his set and many fans left with a sour taste in their mouths, DJ Khaled’s stock remains high as his new album Grateful releases today.

The album brings a star-studded cast to the table, one of whom happens to be an EDM icon: Calvin Harris. Calvin Harris features on the track “Don’t Quit” along with Travis Scott and Jeremih, a mid-album soiree seemingly destined for the poolside. The track opens with Khaled proclaiming “Ayy yo Calvin Harris, they ain’t see this one coming,” although the song sounds straights out of Harris’ recent, hip-hop-flavored output.

Travis Scott leads the track by singing the first few verses and the chorus, with Jeremih coming in during the latter half of the track and Khaled dispersing his ad-libs throughout. Harris’ summery production provides a perfect backdrop for Scott and Jeremih, and hints at what’s to come from his new album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which drops in a week on June 30. Scott features on Harris’ upcoming album as well, so be ready to hear more from the now-frequent collaborators.
