Your EDM Premiere: Greg Gatsby – I Got You (Feat. J Allen)

Rising producer Greg Gatsby has steadily been making waves in the underground with his ability to deliver club-ready tracks with their own unique flair. His newest effort is a future bass track featuring J. Allen called “I Got You.” Nestled somewhere in between pop music and Flume’s Skin, “I Got You” is an ideal summer anthem full of good vibes and emotion.

The track starts off with some bright piano chords which lead into J. Allen’s soothing vocals. Backed by light synth plucks, the vocals instill a bright summer feel that resonates throughout the track. A complex build-up takes things into the drop, which flawlessly combines the perfect amount of vocal chops with some almost metallic-sounding future bass synths. Things wind down with another vocal break before Greg Gatsby brings in the second drop. Featuring a chorus of background chops that bring a new groove to the same future-synths from before, the second drop is the track’s cherry on top.
