This week, however, showcases one of their most prominent duos Disco’s Over and newcomer to the label CONVEX teaming up with singer/songwriter Elle Vee on the emotionally-powered single “Permanent.”
The single treks through a message of unbending loyalty through the power of love likening the permanence of this love to that of a tattoo complemented by Elle Vee’s singing prowess. Meanwhile, the production from Disco’s Over and CONVEX create a growling bassline reminiscent of electro house anthems from Zedd or Tommy Trash while instilling melodic piano to give this song a trance-like ambiance.
