The planets have aligned and life makes a little more sense now…

That’s because Taco Bell has partnered up with Lyft to provide snack runs via the rideshare app. The late night ride-thru initiative called “Taco Mode” sounds just as good as T-Bell tastes!

We’ve all been there… When the rave has ended and there are two very important things on your mind: food and home. If you’re faded and have the munchies “Taco Mode” is there to get you fed and get you to bed… like the real party MVP it is.

The Lyft app is rolling out “Taco Mode” between July 27 – 29 and August 3 – 5 in Orange County (9 pm – 2 am), but is making plans to “expand Taco Mode into additional markets by the end of the year, with an expected nationwide rollout in 2018.”

“We realized that for every person who has asked their Lyft driver to make a pit-stop at Taco Bell — and we’ve seen many — there are likely those who weren’t sure if this was possible. With the advent of this fantastic partnership with Lyft, we will erase any lingering uncertainty and celebrate the ability to ‘ride-thru’ in Taco Mode,” said Marisa Thalberg, Chief Marketing Officer, Taco Bell Corp.

The days of bribing your driver to make a pit stop are over and “Taco Mode” is the future!
