With two EPs on Buygore, official remixes for multiple artists including NGHTMRE as well as on powerhouse label Mad Decent and more; VICE CITY is making moves that are quite hard to miss in the bass music scene. Now, they are back with a crushing new remix of Krewella’s track “Be There” from their recent album “New World Pt. 1“. Featuring other outstanding artists including Dyro, Justin Caruso, Havok Roth, Spag Heddy, and Pierce alongside, this major heater was released as part of their remixes package, and does not disappoint.
Providing us with a gorgeous variation of luscious guitar; natural drum sounds; and classic retro synths in the intro, they set up the listener to expect the unexpected, and take the emotion into a powerful build into wild Hybrid Trap/Dubstep sounds to the maximum quality. Structured just right, this pours in with Krewella’s uplifting vocals, and swings right back into an epic climax, followed by an exit with the return of the intro’s beautiful vibe, leaving the listener captivated and ready to replay immediately.
If you haven’t yet heard the original, this representation could pass off as such easily, full of tension and so many emotions, while still staying true to VICE CITY’s insane style. With all the power in this tune, the standards are now pressed very high for what they have coming forward; however we expect what is planned must be just as incredible as they are breaking expectations already, and piling on a huge representation of what they can do.
This track is one to stick unlike countless remixes and packages in other cases, but again, the artist choice on this entire remix package is superb.
