After countless singles and a bunch of EPs, Snails has finally announced a debut album.

Because of Snails’ distinct and characteristic sound, and its ubiquity throughout his discography, it wouldn’t be wrong to feel hesitant about an entire album from Snails. However, the first single from the album has already shooed away all fears.

“Into The Light,” featuring vocals from Sarah Hudson, is a completely new side to Snails and we’re absolutely loving it. It definitely still has the characteristic vomitstep sound that catapulted Snails to fame and glory, but it’s also infinitely more refined and breaks into a new sound for the French-Canadian producer.

The first drop is a mix between house, breaks and trap, playing with variable drum patterns and a tempo more akin to hip hop. It’s the next drop that’s the true panty dropper, though – it’s insanely ravey! It pumps up the tempo and provides perfect opportunity for VIPs, remixes and absolute party mayhem.

So far, there’s no release date for The Shell, but we’ll be sure to let you know when that changes. Check out “Into The Light” below!
