Gearing up for a new solo venture, the musician talks with Huck Magazine in a recently published, totally unapologetic interview. The singer/songwriter shared his true feelings about DJs — to him, new music feels “bland” and Harris gets caught in the crossfire with some pretty brutal disses.
The verbiage of the article describes a certain layer of disgust Gallagher holds against DJ performers, and especially Harris, who has become a top 40 hit-making representative of the industry. Gallagher was triggered after a comment was made about how DJs have become the new rockstars:
“Did they?” he replied in shock.
“Not in my world, they haven’t. What, Calvin fuckin’ Harris? The most boring fucking person? Fuck off, mate… I’ll tell you what they’ve become: the new accountants!”
