This year’s Lost Lands, Excision’s debut festival, is still the talk of the town. Between all of the incredible acts, the amazing vibe of the festival itself, and all of the extracurricular activities, there’s plenty to focus on. Unfortunately, the set up of the festival was a bit of a burden on Excision’s team, as it was following a festival just the previous week.
“Resonance Fest is the week before us,” Excision wrote to his Headbangers Facebook group, “and setting up in 4 days cost us a ton and was insanely stressful having to work multiple crews 24 hours a day to get everything done in time.”
So he asked his fans what they thought about moving the festival to September 14-16 in 2018?
“I’ve been reading all your feedback and it seems like it would work better for a lot of you.”
Either way, Excision wrote, the festival would have to be moved a week earlier or later in 2018. But considering how flawlessly the festival was executed this year, there’s no doubt that with more time, less stress, more knowledge, and the same team working behind the scenes, the sophomore Lost Lands will be unlike anything the world has ever seen.
