what so not

For some electronic music fans, What So Not and Skrillex playing out “Africa” in sets might be the extent to which they recognize the sounds of Toto — but all that is about to change!

Apparently Toto hit the studio with both What So Not and Skrillex back in 2015. If you don’t believe us, here is the proof. Fast forward to now, and fans are finally getting to hear what sort of magic happened during that studio session.

“Toto meets EDM. Who knew?” the band shared on social media. “Very cool and fun and fresh!”

We have to agree. The new ID unmistakably captures the essence of Toto, the American rock group that formed in 1977, while also peppering in the creative bass energy Skrillex and What So Not both hold. Fans are speculating the genre defying song is called “Tonight.”

With a WSN album in the works we’re hoping this makes the cut, because “Tonight” sounds too good to not be officially released!
