If you’re planning on attending music festivals this year — it’s a good idea to plan ahead, budget, and think of ways to save money before you splurge on the first lineup that catches your eye.

Booking flights and other travel expenses in advance, getting in on early bird sales, and checking out multiple festival lineups before committing can be critical. Keep in mind your favorite band or electronic artist will probably be booked multiple times if they are making rounds in the festival circuit.

Luckily, for our friends in the UK, one publication has taken some extra steps to figure out the most budget-friendly music festivals based off the prices of headliners’ tour tickets vs. seeing them live at a music festival.
