Those of you who are used to 4B’s more hype productions might be surprised to hear his latest single, “Drown.” Beginning with soft pianos notes and an equally soft vocal by an unnamed feature, 4B keeps the energy down even in the drop.
The downtempo production is wildly different than what 4B usually puts out, but it is by no means disappointing. The production on this is just as strong as it’s ever been, even missing the usual jersey club and hyphy elements. The vocal chops are perhaps even more on point in this mix, without all the extraneous synth stabs and drops and such.
