Genres have blurred more than ever and what really matters is straight up musical chemistry. Zedd enlisted in Maren Morris, a powerhouse singer with country roots, to turn his track “The Middle” into one of this year’s biggest hits. Alesso also went country recently, calling upon Florida Georgia Line (who actually also collaborated with The Chainsmokers on “Last Day Alive”).
We bet that Kelsea Ballerini and The Chainsmokers have cooked up something worth hearing no matter what it might classify as. The only question is… Are you ready?
