Diplo & Mark Ronson’s collaborative project Silk City returns today with their fourth single and possibly biggest yet, “Electricity” featuring Dua Lipa. The “New Rules” singer gives the massively house-inclined track a dose of powerful female energy.
“Electricity” embodies the house vibes of early Detroit and Chicago warehouse days with a modern polish and a heavy-handed bassline that should pound the chests of anyone on a proper system. The groove is absolutely electric and just makes you want to dance.
This single is also the third in a row of singles with matching track art, implying the tracks could potentially be part of a bigger project dropping soon in the future. For now, check out the video for “Electricity” below.
