Major Lazer Drops 17-Track Mixtape Entitled “Afrobeats”

Listen To Major Lazer’s Sunset Set From This Year’s Burning Man

Yesterday, we shared the news that Major Lazer had announced “new music all month” on Twitter with teasers of tracks from the likes of Burna Boy, Babes Wodumo & Taranchyla, Kizz Daniel & Kranium, and Raye & Mr Eazi.

Today, those tracks have arrived… but not quite in the way that we expected.

Major Lazer has dropped a 17-track mixtape with all of the promised tracks and more, all mixed together into one 30-minute album guaranteed to start a party. Throughout the month, we’ll be getting full versions of all the tracks premiered in the new mixtape, as well.

Afrobeats shines a light on all the African producers and musicians from whom Major Lazer derive a lot of their influence, and it’s amazing to see them supporting these artists and giving them the global platform they deserve.

Check it all out below!
