It used to be that when a musician died, fans would play their records or CDs on personal devices. Now, with the advent of streaming and powerful analytics tools, it’s easier than ever to see how an important figure’s death impacts their numbers. Since Mac Miller’s death two weeks ago, his overall streaming numbers have increased by 970%.

Additionally, every one of his studio albums have re-entered the Billboard Top 200, along with two of his mixtapes. Swimming now sits at No. 6, with GO:OD AM at No. 32, Blue Slide Park at 49, The Divine Feminine at 50 and Watching Movies With the Sound Off at 59. As for the mixtapes, 2011’s Best Day Ever and 2012’s Macadelic also make their debut on the Billboard 200 at 26 and 106 respectively.

Swimming was released a month before his death.
