Drake unexpectedly postponed two Miami shows this week and now it’s been learned it was due to illness.
With short notice, the Scorpion king’s Friday and Saturday night concerts at American Airlines Arena were put off due to what the venue described as “circumstances out of our control.” It was rumored there was in issue with production, but now Drake wants to set the record straight.
In a revealing post on his personal Instagram, the rapper details what exactly went wrong. Not only had he fallen ill quickly, but he was being oversaw by two doctors and a nurse that administered “’round the clock care.” Although this could also be considered circumstances out of anyone’s control, Drake is still deeply apologetic. 
“I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows. I got so ill so fast and I had never experienced anything like that in my life.”
“…this one fell on me and I just want to apologize, because I hate letting down anyone who come to share these moments with us.”
Drake promises Miami will get 100% out of him when he returns. We wish him a speedy recovery.
