Not long after he landed his debut release, Dutch multi-talented artist Ruben Pol is here to bring us new work. We loved the soft, delicate vibes of ‘Bedsheets,’ and he takes a similar route with ‘Meet Again,’ this time featuring production from the UK’s Tom Martin.
A barely there electronic beat sweeps beneath the surface, allowing room for subtle chord melodies to build with a little more intensity. There is an abundance of soul once more on display, with the man behind it describing it:
“Meet Again’ is about a broken relationship and it reflects on the enormous value it still has to me. No matter how much suffering has taken place or how much pain has been done, I’m sure that in the end ‘we’ll meet again’.”
