Skrillex’s Remix of “Sicko Mode” by Travis Scott Now Available For Purchase

We thought we might have to wait until Friday for the official “release” of Skrillex’s remix of Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode,” at least as far as streaming services are concerned, but you can still get it now if you want. The remix just appeared on Travis Scott’s online store here.

After his “Humble” remix, this marks the next Skrillex track that every single bass producer will be playing in their sets. The first half of the track is more of an elaborate edit than a remix, though. Some new snares here, some vocal chops there, and call it a day. There’s more of a “drop” in the middle that has a lot more “typical” Skrillex flavor, but it lasts less than 30 seconds before Drake’s vocals come in.

The track ends with some jersey club edits thrown in.

It’s good, but… it’s not satisfying the way a delicious meal should be. It’s more of a light snack or hors d’oeuvres before the main course. Only, we don’t know what the main course is going to taste (read: sound) like.

Buy the remix here for $0.69 or listen below via Spotify.
