Aliens are invading Rave Land on New Year’s Eve!! Or, at least that’s the theme for Countdown 2018, Insomniac’s yearly Southern California New Year’s celebration. Countdown will be returning to a one-day event this year, after having been two-days each of the past two years. However, the festival itself is expanding to four stages and boasts a jaw dropping lineup featuring Tiësto, Zedd, RL Grime, Dillon Francis, Alison Wonderland, Zomboy and many more.
Also, the alien invasion theme, is a delightful and welcome change. The trailer is a wonderful homage to black and white flying saucer/alien invasion films and TV specials of the 1950s. However, don’t be like the raver in the fun clip and let the aliens get you f*cked up. Tickets are still available here, you can even get a combo ticket to go to Audiotistic and Countdown.
