Marshmello Responds To Haters & Critics Following “First Ever” Virtual Fortnite Concert

Most people have rave reviews of Marshmello‘s performance inside of Fortnite that took place over the weekend. However, he’s catching a little flak for saying the live virtual concert was the “first ever” of its kind.

All these people tweeting about “oh this person did this back in 1965” or “this was done before” I get it but no one has done it to this magnitude besides @FortniteGame who else had a full interactive set where over 10 million players got to play?

Certainly, what Fortnite players witnessed this weekend has never happened to this scale — to this magnitude. Marshmello, along with Epic Games, made something special that a generation will remember for years to come.

Was it the first ever? No. Either way, history was made.
