Wolfgang Gartner Goes Back To His Roots with New Alias & “So Thankful” Remix [MUST LISTEN]

Wolfgang Gartner is taking it back to his house roots with a new remix for Bobby D’Ambrosio‘s classic club track “So Thankful.” Originally released in 2003, the producer now revives the single with serious dance floor fever.

Out of nowhere, Joey Youngman has emerged, which just so happens to be Wolfgang’s real name. Working under this new alias, he reveals the project’s first release with a lot of love attached. It’s all about house music, and it’s all about just being himself.

“So Thankful” is stripped back from any distractions baring a soulful, infectious energy that takes over the track. It has all the traditional makings of a house classic, expertly boosted with rich textures and more punch than ever before. The smooth, groovy nature of the track is not only still relevant, but thriving.

“House music is what I grew up on,” Youngman explains, “and how I got my start.”

He continues, “this alias exists purely to feed my soul.”

No doubt, he’ll be feeding a lot more souls with his take on “So Thankful.” Listen to the latest from Joey Youngman here — and get ready for more where this came from.
