Amazon Music Is Going Global, Expands Streaming Service To Brazil

Amazon Music is expanding like never before, as the platform just launched its service in Brazil.

In order to compete with other big music streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify, Amazon Music is going global. Brazil now has access to more than 500 million songs via the Amazon Music app.

To get Brazilians excited for the launch, Amazon is offering a 90-day free trial to all new users. Moving forward, the service will reportedly cost BRL$16.90 per month or BRL$169.00 per year for individual plans.

This news comes on the heels of the company’s introduction of Amazon Prime in Brazil. Subscribers in the country now have access to video and music content via the Prime Video app.

Popular artists in Brazil include Pabllo Vittar, Post Malone, Ivete Sangalo, Billie Eilish, and Gustavo Mioto.
