We’ve got a fresh and vibey new tune for you, this time coming from rising Lithuanian producer/DJ Gaullin with an assist from one of Denmark’s biggest exports, Martin Jensen. “So We Go” featuring Katy Tiz on vocals, is a catchy-as-hell tune that has a modern mainstream aesthetic while still rocking a club vibe. This one is guaranteed to have you dancing in your living room. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine the lights going off over the dance floor.
The song opens simply enough, Katy Tiz doing a little da-da-da-da-da-da chant, but, man is it catchy. Katy’s vocals play out as the soundscape is laid out in the background. Some undulating synth notes combined with some hand claps and hi-hats give “So We Go” it’s sleek, house vibe. The drop features Katy repeating the da-da-da-da-da chant over some kicking synths. The BPM rises during the drop and it’s at this point of the song I’m left missing clubs the most.
The second verse repeats, however, the second drop is far more urgent sounding. Those low, fuzzy bass synths really stand out. As the melody plays out during the outro in a lilting fashion, you get the feeling of driving off into a sunset. Vibes all the way.
