We didn’t get a whole lot out of Audien in 2020. Obviously, it was a pretty rough year without touring. While he certainly made his presence known on Insomniac live streams, his only new music he released last year was his collab with Arty “Craving.” Now, Audien is back with his first original track of 2021 with “Learn to Love Again.” Now releasing exclusively on Armada, “Learn to Love Again” showcases Audien at his vibey progressive house best.
The track opens with the uplifting and emotional vocal stylings you would expect from any Audien production. Once the vocal refrain begins, the production starts to kick in, but overall, it’s pretty minimal. After this we get the buildup with those beautiful progessive house melodies that Audien has become known for. The drop continues the melody as well as the familiar emotional chorus that accompanies an Audien song. Despite the familiarity of the track, Audien says this is a special one.
“This one is really special to me, as the vocals and lyrics resonate with parts of my own life. Musically, I tried a lot of new and different things on this one, but I kept the signature sound that I’ve been honing over the years. Expect something really pretty and melodic with a whole lot of personality.”
