The highly-anticipated collaboration between San Holo and Chet Porter is finally here! “you’ve changed, i’ve changed” comes via San Holo’s label, Bitbird, a leader in the future bass and downtempo music space.
“you’ve changed, i’ve changed” kicks off with a bright guitar solo that you simply can’t resist. Wistful lyrics are introduced before a simultaneously high-energy and chilled out chorus. Like many of San Holo and Chet Porter’s previous works, the project blends indie rock elements with electronic production. In addition to blending genres, the song is a delicate balance between cheerful and sad, conveying complex emotions that can fit any mood.
The single marks Chet Porter’s first single back since the 2020 collaboration with Alison Wonderland, “Bummed.” However, he recently hinted on Instagram that there might be more in store soon.
For San Holo, “you’ve changed, i’ve changed” is the latest track from a busy release schedule leading up to the release of his new album, bb u ok?, out on June 4.
