Apple Music Launches 2021 Pride Mix Series with Derrick Carter, Moore Kismet, Qrion & More

June 10, 2021
in EDM News, Mixes

It’s June, which means it’s the best month of the year — Pride Month.

To celebrate, Apple Music just launched its Pride Mix series, featuring exclusive mixes by a lineup of talented LGBTQ+ artists in the electronic music space.

Among the producers tapped for the project are Moore Kismet, Qrion, Derrick Carter, Tygapaw and Worthy. Offering a range of mixes to play out and celebrate this month (and always).

Apple Music’s Dance Programmer & Editor Robby Engle reveals to Billboard Dance:

As part of Apple Music’s month-long Pride celebration, we wanted to do something special with LGBTQ+ DJs, as they’ve been an integral part of shaping dance music’s culture and sound since the beginning.

Also available are Pride Mixes from past years — Eli & Fur, Andrew Bayer, Honey Dijon and Maya Jane Coles have all lended their talents to the initiative in the past.

In addition, Apple Music has launched a Pride hub where you can find a range of content, including talks with queer artists.

See the full lineup and listen to the mixes here!
