Nicky Romero Comes Through With Another Banger Under his Monocule Alias “Ways to Heaven”

Fresh off the heels of his Monocule Vol. 2 EP, Nicky Romero is back with another fresh track, “Ways to Heaven” from his dark-progressive alias. Enlisting the help of Italian producer Jamis and British singer/songwriter/pianist Michael G. Moore, “Ways to Heaven” is the perfect distillation of the unique sound Nicky Romero has captured with Monocule.

“Ways to Heaven” opens with Moore’s soaring and emotional vocals; the mashup of vox and synth is almost Depeche Mode-like. While the production stays pretty minimal during the verse, the drop is where it’s at. Club-friendly and made for the dance floor, this track is all about vibe-ing out at a late hour to an utterly danceable beat. The second go-round is even sweeter; the second drop definitely features some of the progressive grooves that Nicky Romero has been known for lately.

Check out the latest from Monocule & Jamis “Ways to Heaven” featuring Michael G. Moore, out now on Protocol.
