Spanish DJ and producer B Jones has opened up about some serious personal news. She recently revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with a tumour in her spinal cord. Although the tumour is not malignant or necessarily life-threatening, its location is of great concern.
The news comes after two months of medical tests and massive uncertainty until doctors were finally able to confirm a proper diagnosis. Although this is an extremely difficult time for B Jones, her family, loved ones and fans alike, she affirmed that she will do everything in her power to keep fighting and will not give up on her musical career. She emphasized that her love for music and connection with her audience will remain a driving force as she moves forward.
On an Instagram post she bravely shared pictures of herself in hospital, as well as the following caption; “Family, I’m not starting the year off as I would have liked, but I think it’s time to open up and be honest with my situation. For the past two months I’ve been going through a sickness not knowing exactly what I had. Can now confirm I have a tumor on my marrow. I’m not going to lie: it’s a hard, very hard thing to assimilate. But I also want to tell you that I am strong, very strong, and totally convinced that I will overcome this. It doesn’t look evil; the most complicated thing is where it is. Still, I take this as a boost in my life, as a fight that will make me stronger 💪 ❤️
Ima keep making music. I will keep fighting. I will continue pursuing my dream. And though I may not be able to dance my music with you right now, I hope you will dance it for me… Because very soon we will dance it together again 🙏 Behind the artist there is a person, there is a human being. And today I can only feel gratitude. Gratitude for all the love I have around me, for such amazing people who accompany me, and for how lucky I am.”
