The lines between electronic music and contemporary art are about to blur in spectacular fashion.
Daft Punk legend Thomas Bangalter and Keinemusik powerhouse Rampa have officially revealed ‘Warehouse Artefacts’ — a large-scale immersive experience set to take over Art Basel in Switzerland this summer.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Hall 1.1 South, Messe Basel, the project brings together Bangalter, Rampa, and acclaimed Swiss-French visual artist Julian Charrière. Presented by art.klub and produced by Nordstern Basel, it’s developed in cooperation with Art Basel and Fondation Beyeler. 
The collaboration is best understood as an experimental, art-focused project that moves beyond the framework of a conventional EDM format. More than just a DJ set, ‘Warehouse Artefacts’ is positioned as a multidisciplinary exhibition where sound and visual art can coexist on equal grounds. While details remain limited to the public, the project is expected to deliver an immersive sensory experience, exploring themes of human impact, technology, and the natural world. These are all areas long associated with Charrière’s boundary-pushing work.
From 18:00 to 23:00, the evening will feature a five-hour DJ set by Rampa, joined by a still-to-be-announced special guest. Expect the signature hypnotic, melodic house sound that has made Keinemusik one of the most respected collectives in global dance music, elevated by Bangalter’s visionary touch and Charrière’s striking visuals.
This marks one of Bangalter’s rare public projects since Daft Punk’s emotional split in 2021. The French icon has kept a relatively low profile, with notable exceptions including surprise appearances alongside Fred again. Pairing him with Rampa has already generated massive excitement in both the techno and art worlds.
Registration is now open via Nordstern’s website. With restricted capacity and Art Basel’s strong global interest, spots are expected to be filled up quickly.
