Toronto-native bass artist TRYPT switches things up with his latest single ‘Undone,’ which made its way to us on April 3, 2026.
The track first premiered on February 17 during Micah Martin’s IMPACT show on Insomniac Radio and has already earned regular airplay on the station — a strong early sign of support from one of the biggest platforms in electronic music.
Following the intensity of his recent releases ‘Desire’ and ‘Ransom,’ TRYPT shifts gears on ‘Undone,’ leaning into a more spacious, slow-burn bass aesthetic. Rather than pushing constant energy, the track settles into a stripped-back, tension-filled groove built on atmosphere, heavy low-end, and a slower, more deliberate pace — made for those deeper moments in a set where things open up, but still hit with real weight on the system. 
Speaking on the release, TRYPT explains: “Undone is about restraint — keeping the pressure, but letting the track breathe. After ‘Desire’ and ‘Ransom,’ I wanted to open up more space and show another side of the project without losing the identity.”
This evolution feels right in line with TRYPT’s journey. He first made waves during the blog era, picking up a standout co-sign from Skrillex and building early momentum through millions of natural streams across SoundCloud and YouTube. Now he’s building fresh momentum with support from names like DVBBS (on his bootleg of ‘On Me’), bass pioneer Mala, and as Notion, Sicaria, Skala, and YDG.
