Rita Ora’s Relationship With Calvin Harris Hit A Sour Note After Working Together

Rita Ora will never be able to escape her relationship with Calvin Harris. Not only is he everywhere, from the silver screen to billboards in all the major cities (Thank you, Armani), but the fallout from their relationship has also rippled through her music career. After a very public breakup, Ora was blocked by Harris from performing “I Will Never Let Your Down” at the Teen Choice Awards because he did not approve the rights to use the song for the show (he wrote and produced the track). In a recent interview with Marie Claire, she admits that their collaboration might have been the beginning of the downfall of their relationship.

I was at that point in my relationship where I felt he could do no wrong. I thought he had my back and that he’d never steer me wrong. But then “I Will Never Let You Down” came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don’t know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what.

The two are bound to run into each other for the rest of their careers, especially with Calvin Harris linked to America’s little darling Taylor Swift. Let’s just hope the two can be civil towards each other and learn to move on. Read more of Rita Ora’s interview at Marie Claire.
