AN21 & Max Vangeli – “Tonight” (Will K & Corey James Remix) [Free Download]

At festivals, you will find me at the stages with pure house artists; rarely if ever do I journey over to the main stage. Despite my genre allegiances, I can always appreciate a well-produced track that dares to stand apart. The releases coming out of Steve Angello‘s SIZE Records stand apart from the watered down house tracks polluting music feeds everywhere, and the label organizers have a knack for picking worthy up-and-coming talent.

Enter Will K and Corey James, two young producers hailing from countries oceans apart. Will K hails from Australia, while Corey James emerges from the U.K. The two collaborated to produce a remix for the An21 and Max Vangeli anthem “Tonight” as an entry in a remix contest organized by the original production duo and Wavo, and their efforts earned them the top pick as the best remix out of the crop of entries. SIZE released their remix on the label’s official Soundcloud account as a free download, and the remix continues to receive rave reviews.

Will K and Corey James transformed “Tonight” into an absolute monster, outfitting it with booming synths, a groovy bassline, and a chilling reinterpretation of the lead vocal. Will K and Corey douse the track with waves of tension, which perfectly rise to an apex and wash down in a cascading drop. A perfect fit for clubs with dark rooms, this remix of “Tonight” foreshadows fruitful careers for these two rookies.
